Update on reopening schools

 

This is one of several that we will be informing you in the next few weeks regarding reopening school planning for the upcoming school year. We have been busy working on how to reopen our schools with a high priority on student and staff safety. Our reopening school committee has already met five times and we continue to meet on a weekly basis. We hope to have our reopening plan finalized around the first week of August. We plan to send you more updates on reopening details in the next few weeks. 

 

❖ All students and staff must wear a face mask or face shield. (We can do this!) 

❖ Classroom instructional space must be set up so students are 6 feet apart. (We can do this!) 

❖ A daily screening for possible symptoms (temperature check, etc.) must take place. This can be done at home by parents and can be recorded on a simple form sent daily to school with each child or via phone or computer APP. (We will provide you with more information on this as we get closer to the start of school.) 

❖ Students riding school buses must wear masks or face shields
